Fat Loss vs. Muscle Loss: What You Need to Understand
Dear patients and friends,
When undertaking a weight loss program, we often think we're only losing fat.
Reality is different.
When losing weight, you can also lose muscle mass. And this muscle loss, if not monitored, can slow down your metabolism and harm long-term results.
That is why, in our program, we place great importance on:
• body composition analysis
• resistance training
• sufficient protein intake
Reducing portion sizes without prioritizing protein can worsen muscle loss. That's why we recommend our patients always consume their protein first, and add supplements if necessary.
In this video, I explain why understanding the difference between fat loss and muscle loss is essential for healthy and sustainable weight loss.
